Official Sister Annella Guild Handmade Rosary

This handmade, heavyweight rosary celebrates the life of Servant of God Annella Zervas, OSB, honoring her in the Benedictine colors of black and white. Made with durable white and black stone beads, bronze components, and a solid bronze crucifix, it is substantial in the hand. 

The centerpiece medal features Sister Annella’s image on one side with the prayer she would often say in times of affliction: “Jesus, mercy.” On the other side, it reads “Sr. Annella Zervas, OSB.”

The crucifix bears the Corpus of Christ with the prayer side of the Saint Benedict Medal set beneath the Corpus. On the back of the crucifix is the side of the medal showing Saint Benedict holding the Cross and his Holy Rule. The medal is a cherished sacramental of protection and deliverance, filled with prayers asking Christ to strengthen us against evil, temptation, and all that leads the soul away from Him.

Sister Annella had a tender devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. In her suffering, she would turn to Mary and offer her pain, trusting Our Lady to place it before Jesus when she was too overwhelmed or had simply forgotten to unite it to Him herself.
